Shipping and Delivery
All our tatami mats are handcrafted by skilled artisans in Tokyo and delivered worldwide. Here is an estimate of the time from order to delivery.
1. Production Lead Time
In Stock: Approx. 2 weeks
If materials are in stock, we will begin shipping preparations within 3 days of receiving your order.
Out of Stock / Custom: Approx. 4 weeks
Typically involves 1 week for material sourcing, 1 week for production, and 2 weeks for transit.
2. Shipping Methods & Transit Time
Used for urgent deliveries or countries where EMS is unavailable via Air Freight.
The most cost-effective method. Fully trackable and our standard choice for most orders.
Recommended for bulk orders (15+ mats). We handle all English/Spanish export documentation.
3. Secure Packaging & Quality Control
We pack every order with extreme care to prevent any damage during long-distance transit.
Before packing, we apply anti-mold and insect repellent treatments, and use waterproof sheets for humidity control.

Customs duties and taxes (VAT) incurred upon import are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local customs office for specific rates.
🌿 Phytosanitary Policy
Our Igusa undergoes multiple rigorous checks during dyeing, sewing, and inspection. Insect contamination is virtually impossible.
We are not aware of any country that currently prohibits Igusa. Should an inspection be required, we will provide full support to ensure a smooth process.
